Christmas is one of our favourite times of year. The smell of mulled wine, Christmas lights strung up around the town, and friends and families coming together.

After a day of Christmas shopping, what better way to relax than in our bar than with a yuletide drink?

This December we will have our home made mulled cider in the bar, made using our special recipe with plenty of seasonal spices and a cheeky splash of Kraken spiced rum to keep you warm on a winters evening.

For those wanting to enjoy something decadent this season, our Bar Manager Alis recommends the Dark Martini. This rich, smooth combination of fresh roasted coffee, Courvoisier VSOP Exclusif premium brandy will be available at our cocktail bar as our speciality cocktail of the month, and we think it’s the perfect Christmas treat.

We have a few other firm favourite celebratory drinks for the party season, including the refreshing and bubbly French 77 made with gin, elderflower, lemon and prosecco – perfect for special occasions. A new addition to our menu, The Forest Fig, is a great winter warmer, which is proving to be popular for a cosy evening in the bar made with Fig jam blended with Auchentoshan Three Wood Whisky, brandy, elderflower, lemon and Cointreau.
