easter is upon us, a fabulous excuse to get together with friends and family to eat, drink and be merry. We love eating dozens of chocolate eggs before noon here at Pelirocco but it often means that we don’t have enough room to enjoy a seasonal tipple. We’ve found a way around that this year by combining chocolate and alcohol!

May we introduce to you our Easter specials:

First on the list is a Pelirocco classic – The Foxy Lady. This short and sweet desert-like beverage is a mixture of milk, cream and delicious milk chocolate liqueur Crème De Cacao, shaken with almond liqueur Amaretto, double strained into a martini glass and topped with chocolate sprinkles. Perfect for easing you into the long Easter weekend we’d recommend starting with this creamy oh-so easy to drink concoction on Easter Friday.

we’ve come up with a few new chocolatey tipples for your (and our) pleasure this month too. The new addition ‘The Spring Kiss’ is our answer to the adult milkshake. We’ve blended milk and dark chocolate liqueur Crème De Cacao with Baileys, cream and milk and topped it with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and sprinkles to make for the ultimate indulgence this Easter.

This boozy hard shake is the perfect indulgence at any point over the weekend, though we’d say it’s best enjoyed with some sun pouring through our bar windows; bringing back memories of chasing after ice cream vans.

finally, we thought we’d give a classic cocktail an Easter twist with the ‘Coffee and Cream Martini’. We’ve taken a good old fashioned Espresso Martini made with our fresh coffee beans, Vanilla Stolichnaya Vodka and Kahlua coffee liqueur and we’ve added a dash of cream and Crème De Cacao dark chocolate liqueur to give it an extra intense, rich flavour. We’d say this aperitif would be best enjoyed on Easter Sunday, to give you that little boost for one more night of partying.
These Easter specials will be around for this weekend only, so pop on in if you fancy something a little bit different this year.

Sorely tempted but you’ve already feasted on a chocolate egg or two? We won’t tell if you won’t…
