Unsurprisingly, we’ve had another wild month here at The Pelirocco

We had lots going on in the hotel bar, kicking off the month with our latest art exhibition launch, ‘Need More Snakes’, a series of beautiful gig posters designed by local artist Dan Bowden. To make the night go off with a bang we had live music from Brighton punks ‘Harker’ that everyone was dancing to when they weren’t buying prints!

This was closely followed by our very own Peliroccan DJ All Stars playing a lively set in the bar, as well as a great Anti Valentines DJ night from our boy ‘Dunce’. We also welcomed back The Instant Sisters DJs who brought some amazing tunes, a great light and smoke show, as well as support from That’s My Jam. If you fancy a wild night of dancing make sure you come to their set at the end of March.

We also had loads of great live music, with rockers Thieves By The Code returning to play the bar. Glasgow Indie band Ded Rabbit played an excellent Brighton debut which we were very privileged to be part of, and Pelirocco hosted another amazing Acoustic Live, showcasing young local musicians with serious talent.
Matt Whistler and Charmaine Davies hosted another hilarious Funny Fursday, with some old faces and some new ones that had the bar in stitches yet again.

Our birthday celebrations continued with a Dolly Parton lookalike contest that was simply fantastic; our winning contestant serenaded the bar with Dolly’s hits, and local caterers Little Donkey provided some great southern style food that went down very well with our Honey Apple Pie cocktails!
We’ve just about recovered in time for March, when you can expect some very exciting evenings from the Pro7ect song writing team, lots more live music and DJs, Funny Fursdays and a Sid and Nancy lookalike contest. Bring it on….
