In praise of the Queen of Country, we even had a lookalike party all the way back in 2015! What a darn hoedown this was – Sam Chara regaled us with her very own Dolly Pardon act, many delicious Honey Apple Pie cocktails were imbibed (should we reinstate these?) and much fun was had y’all!
Sam performs as several other music characters including Surely Shirley Bassey and Edith Piaf.

Back in the year 2000, a chintzy B&B was acquired by Mick and Jane who transformed it into the Hotel you know and love today.
Manager Marko thinks back,
“After confirming I still had a job, they told me to go and look at their first modifications.
‘Dotty’ a small single room had been dedicated to 60’s avant garde Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama so was now electric orange with black dots all over. And I mean, ALL over. Floor, ceiling, furniture, bed spread, everything was orange with black dots. Very relaxing…!”
Well…it turns out not all our visitors want to relax…right?

The Peli has two quite different rooms available – one large, one small – both uniquely decorated and streaming daylight from bay windows overlooking Regency Square.
Hire is half day, full day and room only, or with accommodation in any of our 19 unique themed bedrooms (ideal for a team building Away Days!) plus we offer delicious in-house catering from buffet style to banqueting.
Seating can be configured in several ways – cabaret-style round tables suits smaller groups to chat and work together while theatre-style seating or long boardroom-style tables are ideal for presentations and screenings.
