This Motown-themed double room celebrates all things soul; decked out in dark smoky purple and high-shine gold with a hand-painted mural of the Supremes above the bed this bedroom has buckets of it!

Complete with sofa area with bespoke record cushions, record player and lots of soul on vinyl to croon along to…

Now with large double walk in shower

First stay at Pelirocco, but will be back! Great little place.

Great couple of days at The Pelirocco. We found this quirky boutique hotel quite by chance when looking up where to spend an experience voucher we received. Being fans of Jazz, Funk and Soul we chose to stay in the Soul Supreme room and adored the themed paraphernalia on the walls (and bathroom). Although we did lots of walking it was great to return to our room which had a record player and selection of vinyl to play. The Pelirocco is minutes from the seafront (and i360 – not a fan of that…). Bar was as quirky, staff friendly and helpful and breakfast lovely. (We didn’t book direct so the cost of this was extra but it was yummy). We need to find another excuse to go back!!

‘Really enjoyable stay in the ‘Soul Supreme’ Room. Looking forward to visiting again!’

I booked this room as a 40th b’day treat for my husband (as there appears to be 8,000 soul records in our front room). He couldn’t have been happier!

The room was funky and spacious and the bed was super comfortable. He enjoyed listening to vinyl on the vintage style record player.
Tea & Coffee making facilities also included in the room with complimentary ‘Curly Wurleys’ (On a side note don’t eat these in bed unless you want house-keeping to think you’ve had an ‘accident’)
All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed looking at all the quirky decor and art work.
The breakfast was great with a choice of full english, veggie & vegan options. The hotel hosts DJ nights in the bar area until the wee hours so us old farts were a bit worried about noise levels but we didn’t hear a thing from our room.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. It’s also very close to the seafront and a short walk to The Lanes where you can find all the lovely shops and bars.
