Georgia has carved her own lane – blending her Jazz, Blues, and Soul roots with sleek, modern production. Sharing stages with legends such as The Clash’s Mick Jones and Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, she creates music that’s cinematic, raw, and timeless – described by Earmilk as “dripping with soulful, bluesy tones, making you feel as if you’re in a Bond movie.”

Best known as part of the critically acclaimed band – Submotion Orchestra, Ruby has also toured as the lead vocalist for Bonobo and Nubiyan Twist, with hugely successful 1940’s-esque vocal trio, The Sugar Sisters, as well as writing and performing for a host of artists across the Jazz, Soul and Dance music worlds.

🎶 Staff do at the Bedford
We had a progressively raucous time for our cracking Christmas Party at the Bedford Tavern in Hove. After a rocking roast dinner and pud we were treated to Musical Bingo from Snow White Trash on the saxophone.
Hilarity ensued with the compere insisting on calling the boss Daddy and dragging him and Marlon onstage.
Marko has locked the other photos into a vault and I’m afraid our bartender will never be the same again.
(Expect he’ll tell fill you in some night over some carefully curated tunes and tipples.)
This boozer was recently featured heavily in Nick Cave’s excellent book and telly series ‘Death of Bunny Munro’ starring Matt Smith, a tale of a sleazy salesman on the skids, all filmed on location around here, Embassy Court, The Brighton Centre, Proud Ballroom in Kemptown and Rottingdean Beach.
Anyhoo, it’s a lovely little welcoming pub, stones throw away from us, good food and very entertaining. Try it!

Laura Danby Christmas Earring Workshops
We hosted a couple of lightly tipsy crafternoons, making colourful jewellery in Laura’s beautiful designs. Some for gifts. some to keep. It’s a cool thing to try socially, making nice things together.
If you missed out on her Christmas sessions with us you can try your hand elsewhere at her Beaonsfield Workshops, options are: 17th Jan – Celestial Skies, 7th Feb – Enchanted garden and 21st March – Geometric Fusion.
